Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio are in need of a contractor to provide ambulance services, both ALS and BLS, for eligible beneficiaries of the VA, as ordered by the VA Medical Centers. The Contracting Officer anticipates making two separate awards; one for each medical center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621910. The small business size standard for this procurement is $6 million in average annual receipts for the preceding three years. This solicitation is being set-aside 50% for small businesses. This means that at least one award out of the two will be made to a small business. Offerors who are not a small business must ensure that they submit a subcontracting plan with their offer in accordance with FAR 19.704, which may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. All offerors shall be registered with the CCR database at www.ccr.gov prior to award of any contract. Solicitation packages will be available for download on or about July 26, 2004.
