- THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. This project is to fabricate and install new structural steel frames to be used as rappel anchors on three existing timber pole towers. The frames will be shop fabricated and painted, then transported and erected near the top of the approximately 30-foot timber towers. Steel frames will consist of wide flanges, tubes, and plate members, with welded and bolted connections. Each tower will require field verification of existing dimensions and conditions and shall conform to the design drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation. All work shall follow applicable state, federal and local safety requirements. The towers are located as follows: 1) The Boise N.F. at Garden Valley Administrative Site, T8N, R4E, Section 1, Boise Meridian; 2) The Payette N.F. at the Price Valley Administrative Site, T20N, R6E, Section 34, Boise Meridian; 3) The Payette N.F. at the Krassel Administrative Site, T19N, R6E, Section 21, Boise Meridian. NAICS code: 237990. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. Estimated start date is September 1, 2004 with 30 calendar days for completion. Estimated Price Range: between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
