Description

This solicitation is unrestricted using the "cascading procurement strategy". In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 19.8, any award for services, resulting from Solicitation C764-0011-04, will be made on a competitive basis to eligible small business concerns provided that a minimum of two (2) competitive (technical and cost) offers are received from eligible small business concerns. If a minimum of two (2) offers from qualified small business concerns are not received for the services specified within Solicitation C764-0011-04, award will be made on the basis of full and open competition from among all responsible business concerns submitting offers. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, administrative support, equipment and incidentals necessary to provide pick-up, transport, appropriate manifesting/processing with patient medication instruction (PMI)/paperwork printing, delivery, troubleshooting and reporting of parcels to the United State Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), Airborne or other indicated vendor, for all parcels generated by the Mid South Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy at 5171 Sam Jared Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Transportation time from CMOP facility should be within a four (4) hour transit time to meet the Scope of Work. The contract period will consist of a base year with four (4) one-year option renewals. The total terms of the contract is not to exceed five years. The CMOP intends to award a firm fixed price contract.The NAICS Code is 561910. Solicitation Issue Date is scheduled for July 29, 2004. Offer Due Date is August 31, 2004 at 4:00 PM Central Time.
