Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, WRD Coram,NY intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Advanced Geosciences, Inc., Austin, TX to purchase a Marine SuperSting R8 IP Resistivity Imaging System to include ancillary supporting cables and peripherals. Market research has indicated that Advanced Geosciences, Inc. was the only vendor that had self addressing electrodes and non-polarizing IP electrodes while being competively priced. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about July 20, 2004 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334519. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
