Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS. HQINSCOM has a requirement for purchase of a secure UDP broadcast transfer system application software, version 3.0, 3.3. volt. Part no: UBTS-W2-HO-06. Owl Computing Technologies, 19 North Sa lem Road, Cross River, New York., and that they are the only known responsible source that can meet this requirement. The Government intends to acquire this via a commercial item contract using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabi lities and qualifications to perform the effort via email to tpotts@inscom.army.mil no later than COB, 12:30 PM,. July 23, 2004. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procure ment on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
