Description

PROJECT SCOPE - This pre-solicitation notice is for a planned IDIQ construction contract to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Gulf Regions Division's (GRD) Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) mission. The task orders issued under this contract will be for both the rehabilitation of existing facilities, as well as new construction. CONTRACT INFORMATION - GRD contemplates an IDIQ contract with individual task orders valued at between $500,000 to $5,000,000. The contract will have a base period wi th a maximum value of $50,000,000 and 3 option periods with an additional maximum value of $50,000,000 for each option should the Government exercise those options. The minimum will be $500,000 for the base period and any options. CONTRACT PROCEDURES - The price proposal will be evaluated based on the bidding schedule contained in the solicitation. The technical proposal will be submitted via an oral presentation, which will be conducted at the Iraqi Business Center in Baghdad Iraq. Pricing proposals will b e due 30 days after the solicitation is made available, which is scheduled for on or about July 29, 2004. Oral presentations of the technical proposal will be scheduled after receipt of the pricing proposals. All firms interested in receiving this solicita tion should send an email request to Mr. Christopher A.
