CLIN 001, NSN: 0 8140 01 354 0766, QTY: 29,946 each Metal Ammunition Container, PA157, IAW MIL-C-71083 with Amd 2 dtd 14 Sep 95 & Drwg 12944510D dtd 30 Mar 98, palletize d 21 each per pallet. FOB: Destination Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AK. Contractor provides pallets as follows: CLIN 002, NSN: 0 3990 01 X93 3821, QTY: 1,426 each Materials Handling Pallet, hardwood, post construction, 4 way entry, style 1, CL 1, SZ A, SPEC MIL-P 15011J dtd 16 Sep 85 FOB: Destination Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AK. U. S. Army Field Support Command(AFSC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W52P1J-04-R-3012 for the acquisition of metal containers, PA157, and pallets, materials handling, for 81MM cartridges for M853 and M816. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a 1-year base period, plus 100% option for both CLINs. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. The RFP will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition.army.mil on or about July 23, 2004 with an opening date 30 days after issuance. Interested firms are invited to submit propo sals after this solicitation is posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
