Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking offerors for the Renovation of approximately 32,000 square feet of space in Building number 133 located at the VA Medical Center in North Chicago, Illinois,. This solicitation includes all Design Build (DB) services including labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the design and construction of new surgery and emergency departments along with new utilities for the renovated space. This project provides for new surgical facilities including operating rooms and support space and an upgraded Urgent Care/Emergency Services facility to be staffed and utilized by both VA and DOD (Navy). A new operating room suite will be constructed in a vacant space in building number 133 and the existing post anesthesia recovery area will be renovated. An emergency department will be constructed on the first floor area currently occupied by the Gastroenterology clinic, patient services offices and the existing emergency treatment room space. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement with NAICS Code 233320. Cost Range for this procurement is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.
