Description

The intent of the LTBMU Lakeshore Toilets Replacement Project is to replace 40 year-old toilet buildings with accessible toilet facilities at four developed recreation sites. Each restroom facility is located near the lakeshore of Lake Tahoe, including Nevada Beach, Baldwin Beach, William Kent Beach and Kaspian Picnic site. Work consists of demolishing and reconstructing existing improvements including: striping for accessible parking spaces, constructing accessible walkways, constructing accessible restroom buildings, revegetation and implementation of Best Management Practices. The government estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. There will be NO pre-proposal meeting or tour. However, interested vendors are encouraged to visit the project sites. Locations are as follows: Nevada Beach Campground is located off of Elks Point Road near Zephyr Cove, Nevada. Baldwin Beach is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, approximately 4 miles west of South Lake Tahoe William Kent Beach is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe approximately 3 miles south of Tahoe City. Kaspian Picnic Area is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe approximately 5 miles south of Tahoe City. The solicitation package is expected to be placed on this internet site on approximately August 2, 2004. Due to the size of the drawings, hard copies of THE DRAWINGS ONLY will be available when the solicitation becomes available.
