- Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) is conducting a market survey to determine industries capabilities to provide a MILES 2000 compatible Small Arms Transmitters (SATs). The scope of the effort entails SATs that are Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), compatible with the current inventory of Marine Corps weapons, have no propriety parts excluding the laser; and integrates with the current MILES 2000 and SNC Technologies SIMUNITIONS. As part of this RFI, the Marine Corps System Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS), releases a DRAFT Test Criteria. Interested vendors should supply comments to the documents indicating ability to meet specified requirements, specific items requiring clarification for responsive industry proposal. Received comments will be considered by the Government for basis of modification to the subject documents. Comments will not be directly responded to but may be addressed collectively at a future date during or prior to solicitation. This documents and all future documents are available for download from the PM TRASYS website, Business Opportunities Division at: http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/trasys/trasysweb.nsf/ This request for comment in no way implies either implicitly or explicitly that respondents will be compensated in any way by the US Government for information or materials provided. It does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the US Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. All information provided becomes USMC property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately. Submissions are due on or before close of business June 31 July 2004. Submissions received after this date may or may not be reviewed.
