- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition and life cycle in-service support of interior electrical distribution equipment such as Parallel Switchboard, Switchboards, Motor Control Center, Transformers, Panelboards, and Electrical Power Monitoring System. This is referred to as Interior Electrical Distribution Equipment (IEDE) through out the Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW will define the FAA's requirement for life cycle National Airspace Integrated Logistics Support (NAILS) technical support services, and equipment requirements. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335313/750 employees. The contract has a potential duration of eight (8) years including a 2-year base period with three (3) 2-year options. Place of performance will be at the contractor's facility and various FAA locations. The FAA will use streamlined acquisition procedures employing best practices for conducting a competitive procurement as authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) of 1996. Offers will be evaluated and contract award made on the basis of "Best Value to the FAA". SIR/RFO DTFAWA-04-R-04597 is attached to this announcement. In accordance with Standard Form 33, Block 9, proposals are due by 3:30 p.m. Local Time (CST) on 8/6/04. Questions on this SIR/RFO shall be in writing and directed to Maria.S.Blair@faa.gov, Contracting Officer, no later than 7/26/04. Firms are to submit an FAA Business Declaration form with their response to this announcement. The form is provided as a separate document under this announcement. The FAA reserves the right to review and verify each offeror's program eligibility. Any amendment(s) issued to this SIR/RFO will published on this website. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. Attachment J.7 is not included in this announcement.
