Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued This solicitation, 48LRSLEASEVEA, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiton Circular 97-17. This acquisiton is unrestricted. Schedule of items: CLIN 0001 – NON-PERSONAL SERVICE TO LEASE A VOLVO S40 2.4i PETROL DRIVEN AUTOMATIC OR EQUAL TO INCLUDE 4 CODED KEYS AND HAVE UK SPECS. AVERAGE MILEAGE 2,500 PER YEAR. COLOR: SILVER METALLIC, TRIM: DALA TEXTILE/T-TEC, UMBRA BROWN/QUARTZ BEIGE. CONTRACTOR TO AGREE TO US AIR FORCE ADDITIONS TO THE VEHICLE. DELIVERED AND READY FOR USE ON 1 AUGUST 2004 OR SOON AFTER. FULL MAINTENANCE AND RECOVERY SERVICE. EVALUATION CRITERIA: TECH.SPEC, DELIVERY, PRICE. Payments to be made monthly in arrears. Place of Performance: RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. The provision at FAR52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors–Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
