Description

This is an urgent, short-notice requirement to provide Rental Sedans and Minivans. See attached solicitation for specifics. This solicitation is Unrestricted. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as Unrestricted under the Standard Industrial Classification code - 7514 , NAICS code - 532111, and the related Small Business Standard - $21.5 million. The period of performance is 19 July through 10 September 2004. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. The rental agency must be a U.S. Government Car Rental Program Participant. Per the DoD policy, Defense Transportation Regulation DOD 4500.9-R volume 1, the U.S. Government requires all DOD sponsored travel to use approved carriers, and they remain approved for the duration of the contract.
