Description

The work of this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials as required to construct a modification to an existing septic sewer system located in the Park Headquarters area of Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, CA. This work will be completed in two phases at separate times. Phase I will consist of the construction of a new force main or pressure sewerline, a new drainfield, and appurtenances. Phase II will consist of the construction and installation of a new gravity sewerline, septic tank, and appurtenances. Work on Phase I will start in early Fall 2004 and have a 45 day completion period. Work on Phase II will start upon completion of a new office building anticipated in late 2004 or early 2005 and will have 30 day completion period. The project magnitude is estimated between $25,000-$100,000. An award selection will be based on a Best Value determination after evaluating price and non-price factors as identified in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ will be available for electronic access only at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or directly through the DOI National Business Center website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may have been issued prior to the due date of August 18, 2004. This acquisition is unrestricted pursuant to Public Law 100-656. All responsible parties may submit a quotation which, if timely received, will be considered.
