Description

White Sands Missile Range contracting office intends to procure on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 a Video Furnace System from Video Furnace Inc., 14052 W. Petronella Drive, Suite 202, Libertyville, IL 60048-9512. The Video Furnace Syste m consists of 1.) 1U rack mount-integrated Server Hardware (VF-HF) to support the Video Furnace Server Software Licenses, 2.) Real-time encoding server software license w/SLL option (VF-LF-SLL), 3.) Real-time encoding server software license w/LL option ( VF-LF-LL), 4.) Real-time encoding server software license providing a ??????normal latency?????? A/V stream (VF-LF), 5.) IP Video thin client viewer (InStream) software for Windows and Linux/Intel Clients (VF-IS), 6.) Client provisioning agent (VF-Agent), 7.) Electronic program guide (VF-OG), 8.) GUI configuration too (VF-Pilot), and 9.) Web portal (VF-Portal). Video Furnace is the only company who can offer this software-controlled solution for converging live video to the desktop and other IP devices with out requiring installed client side players. This is also the only existing system that meets the stringent computational and size requirements.
