- NSN: 2925-01-423-3003JF P/N: 9336M49P07 Noun: Lead Engine Ignition Item Description: Lead Ignition. Its function is to supply electrical power to the spark igniter. Dimensions are as follows: 18.40 inches long by 1.830 inches in height. The material is A/C grade copper with aluminum shielding and connectors. This is used on F101 engine, B-1B tors; nutsize 1.000-20 20 unef 2B both ends; lead 18.400 length; 1.830 height. Applicable to: F101 Engine Destination: FB2039 Delivery: June 2004 Qty: 72 Quantity ranges will be solicited: 25-50, 51-76, 77-102. Quantity can change prior to award, therefore, contractors should propose on all quantity ranges listed. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 9 October 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 30 days after the date of issuance.. The anticipated award date will be 18 November 2003. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
