Description
POC: Sonja C. Tweten-Grout, U.S. Geological Survey, Box 25046, MS 204A, Denver, CO 80225, Telephone: (303) 236-9335, email: sctweten@usgs.gov.The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for Stabilization, Documentation, and Maintenance of IT Security Zone for the Advanced National Seismic System (ANSS), As designed, the ANSS will consist of three application areas: 1) real-time data acquisition and .processing; 2) Data Base Management System (DBMS) and DBMS associated middleware; and 3) interactive processing. The scope of this contract is limited to the hardening, maintenance, and documentation of up to nine IT security zones as required. Additionally, new machines are proposed for inclusion into the system, and the contractor will be responsible for installing those machines in compliance with DOI and USGS security guidelines. System administration and patch management is an integral part of the work, as is firewall configuration and documentation. Monthly scans and penetration testing will be required, along with follow-up reports recommending mitigating actions for vulnerabilities detected during the scans. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The requirement shall be for a base year and two (2) twelve (12) month periods. Telephone requests and faxes will not be accepted.
