Description

The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about July 26, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is full and open competition. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to provide a 10-slip boat dock to Amistand National Recreation Area in Del Rio, Texas. The contract will include base bid of delivery only of a 10-slip boat dock system, manufacturer shall provide plans, specifications and detail drawings prepared and stamped by a registered professional engineer licensed to practice in the State of Texas. The bid additive consists of assembly and install of complete boat dock system ready for immediate use by the National Park Service. The bid additive requires manufacturer to provide plans, specifications and detail drawings prepared and stamped by a registered professional engineer licensed to practice in the State of Texas. Request for Proposals -Solicitation Number N7350040001. This is a best value procurement where award will be made based on price and non-price related factors. The Government will Not select an offeror for award on the basis of superior capabillity without concern for the price of the offer. Non-price factors are considered more important than Price. Factors include but are not limited to technical capabilities, past performance, and price. The NAICS code for this project is 488390 and the small business size standard is $5 million. In accordance with FAR subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 to 100,000. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L. Responses will be due approximately 14 days following the issuance of this solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
