Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) - Denver Office, Acquisition Operations Group (D-7810), Building 56, P O Box 25007, Denver, CO 80225, has a requirement for Groundwater Exploration; Drinking Water Well and Pump Installation - Glory Hole Recreation Area; New Melones Lake (Sonora (Calaveras County), CA). The well (or wells) must be capable of producing drinking water at a minimum of 40 Gallons Per Minute (GPM). Reclamation proposes to issue Request for Proposals (RFP)04SP811013, no earlier than five (5) days after publication of this notice, to acquire this work by contract. A firm-fixed price construction contract is contemplated; estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED; open to all qualified sources for participation under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 237110; small business size standard is $28.5 million. This notice is to seek qualified sources. The solicitation and all amendments, when issued, may be viewed and printed from web site http://IDEASEC.NBC.gov under Document Number "04SP811013". Reclamation will not issue the RFP in paper form. Questions concerning this acquisition may be submitted, in writing, to Robert E. Collins, Contracting Officer, via E-Mail at RCOLLINS@do.usbr.gov ; FAX at 303 445-2428 or 720 544-4569, or mail to at address listed herein above. All changes and revisions to the RFP, if any, will be (1) identified accordingly, (2) issued as amendments to the RFP, and (3) posted on the web prior to solicitation's closing date. Reclamation reserves the right to determine whether amendments to the solicitation should be announced in the FedBizOpps.
