Description
Synopsis RFP W912DW-04-R-0034 Miscellaneous Environmental Services Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: Paul Daneker at paul.r.daneker@usace.army.mil. The Seattle District is soliciting proposals for Miscellaneous Environmental Resource Studies dealing with environmental resources and proble ms at civil and military locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho; and Montana. This includes site-specific resource field examinations; field sampling; monitoring; and data analysis; environmental planning and impact assessment; and multimedia envi ronmental compliance assessment and follow-up. The purpose is to augment District expertise with technical and logistical support, including intern and entry-level technical aid in all disciplines; execution of established field and laboratory sampling an d data collection protocols; logistical support for field studies; literature searches; telephone inquiries; basic drafting; development of visual aids and photography. This proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indef inite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract that will consist of a base year plus two-option years. The maximum ordering amount shall not exceed $400,000 per year or a total of $1,200,000 over the life of the contract. This requirement is open to both large and smal l business concerns, however, if you are a large business and your proposal will equal or exceed $500,000, you will be required to submit a Subcontracting plan. The relevant North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541690 and the Standard Industry Classification (SIC) code is 8999 with a corresponding size standard of $6-million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on the Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format onl y - No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 27 July 2004.
