Description

This project is to create a new reliable fiber connection at the line rate of 44.736 Mb/s to establish connectivity between Portland Division, 1125 NW Couch St. Portland, OR and Portland District, 333 SW First, Portland, OR 97204. The 44.736 Mb/s mu st have a digital signal format defined in the international digital hierarchy associated with North American networks, and must be on a physical medium. This is a project that involves a new service installation, associated with customer relocation from 220 NW 8th Avenue, Portland, OR to 1125 NW Couch Portland, OR, with a need to establish a new connection between the Couch address and our current address at 333 SW First Avenue, on or before 10 September 2004. This procurement contains four (4) option ye ars to be unilaterally exercised only at the Governments discretion. Issuance of this solicitation is on 12 July 2004 and due on 21 July 2004 by 10:00 am pacific time. Interested firms are invited to request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) by regis tering on the Portland District website and downloading the solicitation at www.nwp.usace.army.mil/ct. Faxed copies of quotes are accepted. Please verify that your quote has been fully transmitted in order for it to be accepted in the procurement process . In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov.
