Description

DESC. The purpose of this amendment is to update the previous synopsis dated 2/23/04 as follows. Quantity has been increased to 98,858 each. Revised issue date is on or about 22 July 04 with closing date approximately 30 days from issuance. Tech data package shall be available as indicated in the solicitation. Any quaestions/clairifications must be submitted in writing by contractors prior to solicitation closing date. NEED: FSC code 1310, NAIC 314999 with 500 employees as a Small Businesss classification, PN 0131501X941081, 13,600 parachute assemblies for the F/8MM ILLUM M853. IAW drawings: Assembly to consist of Parachute, flat dwg. 9381631H dtd 9 Jul 01; Bag Deploymen t, Dwg 9381589E dtd 9 Jul 01; and parachute folding & packing assembly, dwg 9381589L dtd 9 Jul 01. Note: Assembly will be provided without oval sleeve and suspension wire called out on dwg 9381075L. This acquisition will have a 100% option and first arti cle requirement. FOB Destination: Pine Bluff Arsenal. U. S. Army Field Support Command(AFSC) intends to issue a Best Value Request for Proposal, W52P1J-04-R-3009. This contract will be unrestricted. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The RFP will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about March 20, 2004 with opening 30 days from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies ar e available.
