- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price Brand Name or Equal contract for FLEX WING ROTARY CUTTER. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement number is FQ3CEO415403. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Full and Open Competition requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333111, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. CLIN 0001, (4 ea.), Flex Wing Rotary Cutter, Brand: Bush Hog Model 3715 OR EQUAL. The salient physical and functional characteristics of the government?s needs are the following: CUTTING WIDTH: 15 feet. HEIGHT RANGE: Adjustable from 2 inches to 14 inches. CUTTING CAPACITY: Must cut brush/trees up to 3 1/2 inches. TRANSPORT WIDTH: 96 inches or less. BLADES: ? x 4 inches uplift with 6 inches overlap and equipped with a stump jumper. TRACTOR PTO: 540 rpm. TIRES: Foam filled aircraft type. SHIELDING: Double row chain safety shielding. HITCH TYPE: Self-leveling pull type with perma-level hitch. DECK THICKNESS: 7 guage or heavier. SLIP CLUTCHES: 4 friction plates. WING LIFT HYDRAULICS: Standard. WING FLEX: 87 degrees up to 22 degrees down. The delivery point is: 96 CEG/CERF, 501 De Leon Street, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida 32542. FOB Destination.
