- Description
- The National Cancer Institute intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with The MEDSTAT Group/Inforum, Inc, 801 Crescent Centre Drive, Suite 400, Franklin, TN 37067, for a modification to an existing contract N02-CO-01014 to conduct a study investigating the feasibility of developing a tailored stand-alone internet-accessible geodemographic marketing database application. This study will utilizing the proprietary data sets owned by MEDSTAT Group/Inforum and currently licensed by NCI, via the current contract. This application will meet the specific requirements outlined by the NCI. Upon completing the study, the contractor will provide a full set of specifications necessary to develop and build such an application. In addition, this modification will provide technical support and access to additional proprietary data sets to be integrated with those already licensed by NCI. The provided services are proprietary and commercial as defined in FAR Part 2. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy agency Requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
