Description

Notice of intent to sole source. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to award a purchase order under simplified acquisitions procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 to MSP Corporation for a wide range aerosol particle sizer. This is an integrated aerosol particle spectrometer capable of measuring the size distribution of particles between 10 nm and 10um in near-real time. Lower size limit: 10 nm Upper size limit: 10 um Nanoparticle sizing technology: DMA/CPC Large particle sizing technology: Light Scattering Minimum measurement cycle: 60 seconds Size bins: Minimum 32 channels per decade (nanoparticle range) CPC concentration range: 20 particles/cm 3 ? 10 7 particles/cm 3 This is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document is available. Any source who believes they can provide this required product is entitled to submit a capability statement (which addresses this requirement) to the point-of-contact identified in this announcement. Submit information to NIOSH, 4676 Columbia Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45226, ATTN: Jenny Bayer, Mail Stop C-4. If no responses are received within 15 days, award shall be made to MSP Corporation. Award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) without further notice being issued. All responses received shall be considered by the Government.
