Description

1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting for services to fell dead trees in the Aspen Fire burned area. 2. The proposed project is located approximately 27 miles north and east of Tucson, Arizona, on the Catalina Highway from the junction of Catalina Highway and Tanque Verde Road in northeast Tucson. All units are within 200 ft. of access roads and property boundaries. 3. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform 45 acres of tree falling. The contractor is to fell hazard trees greater than 9? dbh, limb, and top (6?). 4. Contract time is 110 calendar days. 5. Price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business- NAICS 115310 and size standard $15.0 million. 6. Fax request for solicitation or inquiries to Alix Ellis at (520) 670-4532, no later than the issue date of July 28, 2004. 7. Deadline for receipt of quotes shall be August 16, 2004. 8. Award will be based on best value to the Government upon evaluation of price and past performance. Anticipated award date is August 19, 2004. 9. Start work date will be August 25, 2004.
