Description: The intent of this contract is to reconstruct the Withers Canyon Trailhead and recondition sections of Forest Service Access Road 500A. Work includes but not limited to establish clearing limits, perform composite road and parking area construction, recondition existing roadbed, aggregate base, and hydro seed disturbed areas. Project is located approximately 22 miles south of La Junta, Colorado. Estimate price range between $25,000 and $100,000, NAICS is 237990. This will be a firm fixed price contract, with a performance period of 30 calendar days. Award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All solicitation documents will be posted to fed.biz.opps approximately July 28, 2004.
