Description: Chadron Creek Hazardous Fuels Stewardship Project. Thin timber stands. This includes cutting and whole-tree skidding of designated trees on 571 acres. Tree greater than 7.9 inches dbh will be removed from the Forest, if they meet utilization standards. Designated trees between 5 and 8 inches DBH will be cut and whole-tree skidded to landings. Some trees less than 5 inches diameter will be cut and scattered, if they meet criteria for ladder fuels or are needed to be cut to protect snags. Some temporary road construction is anticipated. These roads will be closed and rehabilitated following use. Road maintenance is required on existing roads prior to use. See numbered note 1.
