- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure eight (8) each Crank Discs, LH, Stock Number 2010-01-450-5598, Propulsion Systems, Inc. P/N 13384-B, to be used on the Hub Assemblies currently installed onboard the 210' A Class Coast Guard vessels. The Crank Discs must be the part number cited - no substitutes will be accepted. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. Delivery shall be no later than 10/1/04. It is the Government's belief that only Propulsion Systems Inc. and/or their authorized distributors have the capability of providing these discs and guaranteeing the same form, fit and function. The technical and engineering data required to manufacture these discs are proprietary information of the OEM and are not available from this office. Therefore it is intended to award a fixed-price purchase order to Propulsion Systems, Inc. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to provide the part number identified herein by submitting information describing their capabilities no later than seven calendar days from the date this notice is published. The information submitted must include (1) complete and current engineering data demonstrating the acceptability of parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics) or (2) verification these this item has been successfully manufactured for the Government and/or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must be sufficient enough to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this acquisition. Request For Quotation Number HSCG40-04-Q-60021 shall be posted on FedBizOpps on or about July 12, 2004. The closing date for receipt of quotations shall be no later than July 21, 2004.
