Description

Project and Contracting Office, Baghdad, Iraq has a requirement for Welding Equipment. This equipment will be used by the Iraqi prisons. The proposed solicitation number is W914NS-04-R-9014 and provides for full and open competition. Where a brand name is called for in the schedule the offeror may provide a product that is equal to the brand name product. The equal product must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics. Refer to FAR clause 52.211-6. The resulting contract will be a one year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract under FAR Part 12 ? Acquisition of Commercial Items. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code is 333992. The planned date for release of the solicitation is 12 July 2004.
