Description
The USHMM has identified the requirement for the purchase of an ?Outline Panel Display Exhibit System? (brand name or equal to) and crates, for its traveling exhibition of the ?Book Burning?, and for the production of content-bearing panel graphics for the display system. The exhibition must be completed and delivered to the USHMM by November 12, 2004. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all professional services, project management, labor, materials, facilities, equipment, and transportation to provide a complete, portable exhibition as described in the solicitation. Information on the ?Outline System? can be obtained through: SD Modular Displays, Inc.; 1140 W. Sunrise Blvd.; Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., 33311; phone: 1-800-343-4968; email: info@sdmod.com; website: www.sdmod.com. This solicitation is for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. This procurement shall be 100% small business set-aside. This synopsis incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 (dated June 18, 2004). This synopsis is for commercial services in accordance NAICS Code: 712110, Traveling Museum Exhibits. In order to be considered for an award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); (FAR 4.1102). To register your company on the CCR System, go to http://www.ccr.gov. It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a fixed price contract. The Museum expects to issue a Request for Quotation on or about July 13, 2004. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror after evaluation of price, samples and specifications. It is estimated that evaluation and award will be made on or about August 16, 2004. The delivery of proposals will be by 12:00 noon (EST), July 27, 2004, to Division of Procurement, Attn.: P. Smith, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place, SW Washington, DC 20024-2150. The solicitation package may be obtained electronically directly by downloading from this website, via email to psmith@ushmm.org or may be requested in writing via facsimile at (202) 314-0345. Please reference solicitation no. 9531-04-Q-0017. No telephone requests will be accepted. NOTE: The solicitation will contain two attachments. The attachment A and B of this solicitation may be requested in writing via the above email or fax number. Any questions pertaining to this solicitation are due by 12 noon (EST) July 19, 2004.
