Description

[AMENDED]The purpose of this modification is to notify the public that the Government has has issued RFP H92241-04-R-0009. RFP IS available via Federal Business Opportunities System (FEDBIZOPPS). Proposal will be accepted through mail to 9 aug 2004.[END AMENDMENT]The Government intends to procure for the production of 65 each Infrared Exhaust Suppressors IES-47, part number AAE11939 and Logistic Support with warranty in support of the MH-47D/E/G Aircraft(s). Delivery To: Blue Grass Army Depot, Lexington, KY beginning 5 months after receipt of contract. Units will be delivered on a three (3) per month schedule. A sole source procurement is contemplated with firm fixed price contract for production and time and material contract for logistic support. Intended source is Rolls Royce Allison (RRA)/Allison Advanced Development Company (AADC), 2059 Tibbs Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46206-7162. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals are being accepted through mail and e-mail: lmcgrew@tapo.eustis.army.mil. The anticipated award date is 8 March 2004. Data shall be submitted as set forth in the DD Form(s) 1423, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). See Note(s): 22 and 26.
