- Description
- This is a re-advertisement for space for Solicitation # 04-041. U.S. Government Expression of Interest Requirement: The United States Government presently occupies office space under a soon to expire lease in Washington, DC. The Government seeks to lease office and related space consisting of approximately five hundred and thirty thousand (530,000) contiguous rentable square feet of space to be housed in a single building. The rentable space must yield approximately four hundred and ninety thousand (490,000) contiguous usable square feet of space, available for use by the tenant. The General Services Administration (GSA) is considering a competitive procurement for alternative space and will solicit offers if consideration of the economics involved and other factors are supportive, in the sole discretion of GSA. The cost of moving and alterations among other items, will be considered when deciding to solicit for offers to satisfy this procurement. The building must provide for full Federal Government occupancy of the office space. If a parking garage exists, access shall be Government-controlled only. Other Requirements: Within 2000 linear walkable feet on paved pedestrian walkways of a Metro Station operational by October 2007. Delineated Area: The site must be located within the Central Employment Area of Washington, DC Lease Term: The Lease term is for 10 years firm. Occupancy: Space must be ready for total occupancy by October 1, 2007. Phased occupancy will be considered beginning May 2007 provided that total occupancy can be achieved by October 1, 2007. Expressions of Interest Must Include: 1. Building name and address. 2. Rentable square feet and rentable rate per square foot. 3. Availability schedule for all space offered. 4. Method of measurement used to determine the rentable square feet. 5. Common Area Factor(s) for available space. 6. Rental rate information quotation per BOMA/ANSI office rentable square feet. 7. Scaled floor plans (as-built) identifying the space to be offered on CAD disc. 8. Information on the building ownership. 9. Amount of parking available on-site. 10. Site plans, including available setbacks. 11. List of building-provided services. Owners and Authorized Agents: This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation, and notice is hereby given that based on the evaluation of the response(s) to this advertisement, the Government may or may not solicit for offers to satisfy this requirement.
