Description: The project consists of the construction of a new 15,000 sf classroom addition with storage, and male and female toilets and the renovation of the existing Timmermann Theater. Permanent construction for the classroom addition will include reinforced foundation and floor slabs on grade, masonry and steel structures with a 2 ply modified roof system. A new lobby will be provided to accommodate the new north entrance. Supporting facilities will include lighting site preparation, site improvements, antit errorism/force protection, and extensions of utilities. The renovation will include upgrade of the existing HVAC system, existing fire protection system, alarm system, the electrical service to code and repair the interior facilities including seating, rec eption and restrooms. The NAICS is 236220. The solicitation will be issued on approximately 23 July 2004 with the bid opening on approximately 24 August 2004 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
