Description

The Centers for Disease Control, National Center for Health Statistics (NCHSTP) has a requirement to continue the development of the Din? College two-year associate of science degree program in public health designed specifically to 1)train and credential the Navajo Division of Health workforce by incorporating Navajo language, principles of health and disease, and examples of current public health problems among the Navajo people; and 20 attract Tribal Colleges and University students interested in transferring to a 4-year institution and students interested in acquiring marketable job skills to pursur careers in public health. Contractor shall provide an existing introductory course to Navajo Division of Health (NDOH) employees, produce outlines for three new courses and provide these courses, and shall negotiate memoranda of agreement with three area universities.
