Description

The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to negotiate an unrestricted, Sole Source contract with LTX Corporation for the maintenance services of one (1) government owned LTX Attackmaster Synchro Test System in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The required services include telephone support, on site troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, next business day response, coverage, priority parts replacement service, repairs and calibration. The location of the equipment is on Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and IMF, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The solicitation will include two option periods for a period of performance as follows: Base, 01 October 2004 - 30 September 2005; Option 1, 01 October 2005 - 30 September 2006; Option 2, 01 October 2006 - 30 September 2007. FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be based on a single, firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 811219 and $6.0 mil respectively. The FSC Code is J035. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, (CCR), to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. All responsible contractors may obtain a copy of the solicitation and submit a bid. The solicitation will be posted on or about the 21st of July 2004 at this website or through the NECO website at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
