Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 21, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is to provide all labor, materials, supplies and equipment to grind 482 stumps located at Petersburg National Battlefield's Fort Fisher Site. Stumps will be grind to a depth of four (4) inches below grade. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract based on BEST VALUE considering price and contractor experience with grinding stumps on slopes with little to no impact (some stumps are located on earthworks). Contractors will be required to provide Contracting Officer with a list of projects to support experience. SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR: AUGUST 5, 2004 AT 0900 AM. NO OTHER SITE VISIT WILL BE SCHEDULED. Contractors should meet at Petersburg National Battlefield Headquarters, 1539 Hickory Hill Road, Petersburg, VA 23803. Project must be completed by OCTOBER 1, 2004. The NAICS code is 561730. Quotes must be submitted electronically by COB on August 20, 2004. Quote sheet and experience list must be faxed to Contracting Officer at (804) 732-3615 on August 20, 2004. The project estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
