- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2001-20. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 532112 and the Business Size Standard is $5,000,000.00 dollar threshold. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. All items described in this announcement will be awarded on an aggregated basis (all or none), and must meet or exceed the following: Two (2) Wrangler Sport Jeeps (customer preferred package 24D); (RIGHT HAND DRIVE); 4.0L Power Tech I-6; Vehicle one with 4-Speed. Automatic transmission and vehicle two (2) 5-speed manual transmission, 42RLE; Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat; Monotone Paint, Black Hard Top; Seats - Cloth high-back bucket; Interior seat color, Dark Slate Gray; Emissions - U.S. 50 State; Air Conditioning; Windows - Deep Tint Sun screen; Spare Tire Cover; Floor Mats - Front; Seat - rear folding; Convenience Group; Virginia Chapter-90 Recovery; 8 additional Gallons of Gas; the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, as an agency of the United States Government, is self-insured and shall be considered so in this motor vehicle purchase; In the event an FBI employee conducting official business during the possession and use of the vehicles in injured, the FBI agrees to process and forward any claims for employee compensation to the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) pursuant to the Federal Workman?s Compensation Statues (Title 5 U.S.C. Section 3101 et seq) and pertinent regulations promulgated by the USDOL. The period of performance is for one (1) year and begins with the signature of the contracting officer.
