- 17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is HSCG80-04-Q-070704. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-22. The NAICS code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000.00. This acquisition is being solicited based on full and open competition. The acquisition is: ITEM 0001: Provide Temporary Messing and Berthing. 3.1 The Contractor shall provide quality temporary berthing and healthy, appetizing, and nutritious messing (including wait staff gratuities) for _17_ Coast Guard personnel within a 15-mile radius of Southeastern Industrial Marine & Services, Inc., 301 N. Lathrop Avenue, Savannah, GA 31415 for a period of 60 days. Provide 3 single occupancy and 7 double occupancy rooms for Coast Guard personnel during this period. Check in is July 19, 2004 and checkout is September 16, 2004. 3.1.1 Commencement and completion. Messing shall commence with providing lunch on the start date and end with providing breakfast on the completion date of the availability. Use of berthing shall begin on the start date, at the Berthing facility?s normal check-in time and end on the completion date of the availability, at the normal checkout time. 3.1.2 Breakfast: Breakfast choices shall include fresh fruit juices, milk, cereals, eggs to order, pancakes, French toast or waffles; bacon and another breakfast meat; potatoes or grits; toast or pastry; choice of coffee or tea; butter, margarine, syrup and jelly or jam. 3.1.3 Lunch & Dinner: Lunch and Dinner shall include a choice of three different Entr?es including a salad, and side dishes, accompanied by the appropriate sauces, gravies, or salad dressings; choice of beverage. Each meal shall be served with a choice of bread and butter or margarine; soup, fruits, and dessert. Entr?e choices shall vary in a manner not to repeat within a 3-day period. 3.1.4 Take-out Meals: Provide approximately 0 carry-out meals for pick-up by Coast Guard personnel during breakfast and dinner. Provide approximately 17 carry-out meals for pick-up by Coast Guard personnel for lunch. Box lunches may not be necessary if the hotel has a facility that can offer lunches. 3.2 Regulations and standards. All berthing facilities provided shall: 3.2.1 Meet the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (PL101-391) and be listed on the Hotel-Motel Master List (see 5.1 (Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990 (PL101-391))). 3.2.2 Meet, at a minimum, the requirements for a Mobil Travel Guide Rating of three stars or AAA Diamond Rating of three diamonds and include free parking for _2_ vehicles. Berthing will include daily cleaning, change of linen, and replenishment of toiletries (see 5.2 herein). 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE No additional requirements. 5.
