Description

This is REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) #PR-2004-RFI. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposals. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government or the DHS Purchasing Activity. The U.S. Coast Guard Defense Homeland Security is seeking sources capable of providing Portable Handheld Radios that operate in the frequency range of 403-470 MHz and all available options. Sources shall provide Technical and Specification Liturature (Radios & Options), Pricing, and if available on GSA or GWAC schedules. In addition, information regarding the responders status as a Small, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, Small Disadvantage Veteran-Owned, etc. is requested. A quotation received in response to an RFI is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to create a binding contract. It is informational in character. This notice is an attempt to determine the availability and capability of a supplier to deliver Portable Handheld Radios and Options in 30 days or less. Companies capable of providing the equipment defined above are encouraged to respond by providing their Company Name, Points of Contact with e-mail address and phone number, a listing of the types, quantites and prices of equipment with options available.
