- Catwalk Rock Stabilization and Removal Project NAICS Code: 237990 The USDA Forest Service, Gila National Forest, Silver City, New Mexico, has a requirement for rock stabilization and removal project at White Water National Recreation Trail (?Catwalk?) on the Glenwood Ranger District, Glenwood, NM 88039. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Government estimate of the magnitude of this project is the range: $100,000 and $250,000. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Price and past performance are equal in importance for evaluation factors. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $27.5 Million under the above NAICS code. Site Visits may be scheduled with Contracting Officer?s Representative, as noted in the solicitation package. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after July 9, 2004, and will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Maps and other documents that are not electronically available, shall be requested in writing. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must now be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR). The template containing information necessary for registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/handbook.cfm. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. The Contracting Officer (CO) of record shall be Warren Abbott, Southern Zone Lead CO, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, (928-333-6344). No Telephone requests for proposal packages will be accepted. You may request a printed copy of the proposal package by submitting the request by Fax to: (505) 388-8342. The last day to request proposal packages shall be July 23, 2004. The Closing Date for receipt of proposals shall be July 29, 2004, 4:30 p.m.
