- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii is soliciting sources to furnish industrial hardware supplies, electrical products, plumbing products, heating and air conditioning products, ventilation (HVAC) products, hand and power tools, light fixtures, kitchen and bath fixtures, security hardware, welding equipment/supplies, pnneumatic/hydraulic equipment, material handling equipment/supplies, paint and painting supplies, protective equipment, motors, test instruments, metal working equipment, pumps, etc., to the MCBH Shop Store Mini Mart, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. All items are requested to be priced at the current GSA pricing or better. The contractor will operate and manage the Mini Mart at no cost to the government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation number is M00318-04-T-1012. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The requirement is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Government?s need is to purchase these items on a continuous basis, through a consignment inventory and on a buy-on-demand basis. Delivery Orders will be issued under this contract on an ?as required? basis. The ability of the contractor to meet the Government?s demands for a ?just in time? inventory concept is the primary focus of this contract. The following Federal Supply Classification Codes represent the majority of codes applicable to this solicitation 3438. 3442, 3470, 3990, 4140, 4120, 4240, 4320, 4510, 5120, 5130, 5340, 5975, 6105, 6210, 6695, 8010, etc. The solicitation will result in a single award to the offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors.
