Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane has a requirement for a High Performance Mobility FLIR (HPMF) System used to provide enhanced visual augumentation and solve for the precise geodetic position (i.e. latitude, longitude, altitude) of objects of various types and sizes at sea, on the ground, and airborne ranged by the laser rangefinder to augment existing optical and radar sensors. This system is manufactured by FLIR Systems, Inc. This solicitation is issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Offer will be solicited from FLIR Systems, Inc., 25 Esquire Road, North Billerica, MA 01862 in accordance with NSWC Crane requirement performance specifications and Statement of Work. This requirement is anticipated to result in an indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery, firm-fixed price type of contract. The minimum requirement is 3 systems and maximum is 90 systems with associated install kits, cable kits, training, and data. Description of CLINs will be provided with the solicitation. Inspection and Acceptance shall be FOB Destination NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. The solicitation will be availabl e on or about 19 July 2004 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply The closing date is estimated to be 19 August 2004. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.?
