Description: The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about July 16, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is a 100% Set-aside for Small Business. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and woman-owned business enterprises. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to preform all operations required for the successful completion of this project to Upgrade Selected Secondary Electrical Systems Components at Mission Concepcion, Mission San Juan and Mission Espada at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in San Antonio, Texas. Solicitation Number Q7350040006. The work area represents some fo the most historically significant buildings in the USA. It is vitally important to completely understand the scope of work to insure that no unneccessary damage occurs to the historic resources. Digging and trenching will require on-site observation and investigation by the park Archeologist, who is available only M-F 8am to 4pm. The Archeologist requires 48 hours notice for scheduling a dig time. The NAICS code for this project is 238210 and the small business size standard is $7 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Request for Quotes under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 13 applies. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L. Responses will be due approximately 14 days following the issuance of the solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
