The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 2, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: This is an Emerging Small Business Set-Aside. The estimate for this small purchase action is under $20,000. Project Title: Reroofing of the Indian Agent's House at Nez Perce National Historical Park, 39063 U.S. Highway 95, Spalding, ID 83540. This is a 19th century historical building. Request for Quote No. Q9377040120. The Contracting Officer for this solicitation is Joyce E. Bolin, 208-843-2261 ext. 115 or joyce_bolin@nps.gov. All proposed offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov. A Dun & Bradstreet Number is required to complete the CCR form. You may get a D & B number from www.dandb.com. It can take up to 30 days to get a number so please do so as soon as possible. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed price construction contract. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. The work of this contract consists of removal and replacement of the 1200 square feet Cedar Shingle roof and the removal and replacement of flashing and sheathing, as needed. Also required is the removal, painting and replacement of (1" x 4") fascia boards, as needed. This building is the Indian Agent's House, a late 19th century frame dwelling located at Nez Perce National Historical Park, Spalding, Idaho. There will be a site visit on July 14, 2004 at 10 AM (PDT) in front of the Indian Agent's House on the Nez Perce National Historical Park. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 238390. The Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 Million. The Emerging Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 Million. Contract duration is estimated at 45 days from date of Notice to Proceed. All responsible, responsive, Emerging Small Business contractors may submit an offer, which, if submitted in a timely manner will be considered. Offers may be hand-carried to Nez Perce National Historical Park, Attn: Joyce E.
