- Description
- Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the demolition of eight structures; new construction of five buildings which consist of a Kitchen/Dining Hall, a Elementary Classroom, a Facilities Management Building, a Vocational Education Building and a Pump House. There is also miscellaneous facility improvement and repairs on approximately fifteen existing buildings, to include, but not limited to; roof, brick veneer, windows, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ADA, interior finishes, new partitions, exterior walls and exterior walls. Project location is Riverside Indian School, one mile north of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Caddo County. The estimated cost of project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Parties interested in submitting a bid, may request a bid packet, in writing from the Contracting Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005. All orders not picked up will be sent via first class mail, requests for special handling (FedX, UPS, etc) will not be honored. The Bid Opening will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004, 3:00 p.m., in the Large Conference Room in the Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, OK. This project is solicited under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program on an unrestricted basis. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises. An Indian Preference Subcontracting Plan will be required if the offeror is a large business and must be submitted with the offer. A Pre-Bid Meeting is set for July 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. CDST, Riverside Indian School, Cafeteria. The charge for the solicitation document, plans/specifications is $250.00; made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, in the form of a money order or cashiers check and will be returned once plans/specifications are returned.
