Description: U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mat Sinking Unit proposes to procure the service for marine towing with all personnel necessary to safety transport and deliver one 160 foot X 24 foot barge loaded with approximately 8 to 10 connectors and corresponding covers from Blount Marine terminal, Jacksonville, Florida to the U. S. Army Corps on Engineers dock, New Orleans, Louisiana. The contractor shall be held responsible for the safe delivery of said barge and connectors. Inspection shall be made upon deliv ery by designated Corps peronnel of the New Orleans District. Contractor shall bear the expense for repair of any damages sustained during delivery of said barge and cargo. Delivery time shall be approximately 45 days after receipt of award.
