- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Q uotes are requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911S8-04-T-0050 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fe deral Acquisition Circular 2001-03. The requirement is small business set-aside 100% with a NAICS Code of 314912 and size standard of 500 employees. RFQ is for 50 each Body Armor Vest Salient Characteristic: Vest one size fits all, its adjustable (tighten or loosen) with pistol panel and radio pouches. The vest would be used with the Sprears body armor plates and trauma pads. The vest should come complete. It should be Camelback compatible. Vest should be designed is designed to be used with the existing issue SPEARS body armor plates and trauma pads. The basic vest is Camelback compatible. It shall have a pocket sewn to the back of the vest for a 100 oz. bladder. To include: 1 ea zippered back panel 2ea M-16 mag pouches 1 ea 3 mag open panel 1 ea M-9 mag panel Award resulting from this request for quotations will be made to a responsive, responsible quoter using a SF1449 form. Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest price and all or none is to be provided. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial I tems, applies to this acquisition. An addendum to this provision is applicable, in which the term offeror (whenever it appears) shall be replaced with the term quoter. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Off eror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condit ions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses within 52.212-5(b) are applicable to this acquisition: 52.222.21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-19, 52.232- 33, 52.232-36. FAR Clauses 52.208-4, 208-5, 208-6, 208-7 are applicable to this acquisition. The following clause within DFARS clause 252.212-7001(b) is applicable to this acquisition: 252.225-7001. DFARS clause 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor R egistration is applicable to this acquisition.
