Description
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Minority Health Professions Foundation, Atlanta, GA 30316. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase a copy of the 18th Annual Symposium on Career Opportunities in Biomedical Sciences. This information includes the Symposium?s list of eligible students that participated in the biomedical education and health care programs; list of the students that were recruited from the biomedical education and health care programs; and a copy of all the pertinent information regarding presentations and interactive sessions. Any other organization would have to spend significant resources to provide the knowledge and expertise that the above organizations have. Therefore, Minority Health Professions Foundation, is the only responsible source without substantial duplication of cost to the Government under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). This requirement will be awarded under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated period of performance is for a one (1) month period. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. Within five (5) days from the date of the issuance of this notice, the Contracting Officer will proceed in accordance with FAR regulations to award a purchase order to Minority Health Professions Foundation.
