- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Central Administrative Support Center (CASC), Acquisition Management Division intends to procure construction of an offshore patrol vessel to be used by NOAA, National Ocean Service (NOS), Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS), Marathon, Florida. The area of operation of the vessel will be the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. The required vessel is a 38? aluminum hull catamaran. Propulsion of the vessel is two jet driven engines. Maximum speed is 40-42 knots. Cruising speed is 35 knots. Sleeping accommodations for four people is required. Tankage will include approximately 500 gallons of fuel, 200 gallons of fresh water, and 100 gallons sewage holding. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336612. The small business size standard is 500 employees. All contractors doing business with the Government are now required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
